Attached are this week’s Blue Notes, several attachments including Comfort Dog 5K Run, PTL Pie Order and Apple Cider Donut information, Little Panther’s Run, Park District Flag Football, Marengo Girls Travel Basketball and Youth Group information.
VACCINATION CLINIC AT ZION– It is not too late to make an appointment for our vaccination clinic TOMORROW, September 28th from 2-7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. All community members 12 years old and older are invited to participate. Just call the school office (815-568-5156) or church office (815-568-6564) or email: email@example.com to make an appointment. The shots available will be the Pfizer (2 shots- 2nd shot on October 19th and approved for kids 12 and older) and Johnson and Johnson (1 shot).
SCHOOL PICK-UP and DISMISSAL SAFETY REMINDERS – Please let any grandparents or others that may be picking up your child know about the pickup procedures which are in the BLUE NOTES. Please cross only at crosswalks.
KIDS HEART CHALLENGE– The Kids Heart Challenge is underway with its conclusion next week with the entire school outside jumping on October 5th with October 7th as a rain date. We are well on our way towards our goal of $5,000 having raised just over $3,359 to date. There are opportunities for individual, class and school wide prizes.
LITTLE PANTHERS RUN– Wednesday, September 29th- Mrs. Killian’s 2nd grade class runs.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD- School supplies collected numbered over 800 items from our Zion school family. Thank You for showing your love for Jesus with children around the world with these life changing gifts. September 27th- October 8th is HYGIENE ITEMS collection. A washcloth and a bar of soap is our hope for each shoebox we will fill! Blessings on your week ahead!

PARENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (PVP): Just a reminder to all parents to be working towards getting your 10 volunteer hours in this year. We are always in need of lunch helpers from 10:50-11:50 a.m. each day. You can sign up at this link- PVP Volunteer Sign-up Link.
