Blue Notes- April 19th, 2022

Dear Zion Parents:

We hope you and your family had a Happy Easter.

Attached to the Blue Notes is Auction Information, Athletic Soap/Cleaning Product Fundraiser, Summer Drum Line Camp and Marengo Tackle Football.

LOVIN LEVI- Levi Olson is a pre-schooler at Zion.  He is the son of Lindsey (school secretary) and Zach Olson and has a brother Noah in kindergarten.  Levi was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and has undergone two open heart surgeries and is getting ready to get listed for a heart transplant.  You can support Levi and his family by making a donation or buying a Lovin Levi T-Shirt at Lovin Levi T-Shirt.  To stay up-dated on Levi’s journey, you can visit Levi’s Caringbridge website at  Please keep Levi and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they face this difficult medical challenge together with our support and prayers.

ATHLETIC SOAP SALE- Our athletic director, Mrs. Black is sponsoring a soap/cleaning product fundraiser sale to help supplement the cost of our athletic program.  These are all products you probably buy and consume on a regular basis but can buy them for about 1/2 the cost you pay in the store through school.  Our sports participation fee only covers 1/3 of the actual cost of approximately $100 per participate when you take into account a small coaches stipend, cost for officials, supplies, uniforms, equipment.  Attached to the Blue Notes are handouts about the sale which ends on April 27th.
